Residential Houses

Our clients originally purchased this two story brick veneer house in the seaside area of Jan Juc Victoria as a family holiday home. This worked well for a while but a change in the family dynamics and lifestyle resulted in them giving us a brief to modernize their home, reconfigure the rooms to better accommodate their older children and their growing families and to create a better feeling of connection between the house and the large rear yard.

We removed a number of walls upstairs to create a large bright open plan kitchen, meals and living area with almost 180 degree views.

Downstairs 3 new bedrooms and a family bathroom were created. The connection between inside and out was created by using decks on varying levels 'stepping down' from the house into the rear garden. The modernisation of the home externally was completed by rendering the brickwork and painting the woodwork in a more appealing, lighter colour scheme.

The result is one that our clients are extremely happy with.
